Hell, you didn’t see many of them when they were new, unfortunately.
Not sure where they’re all hiding now.

solid point.
and something tells me they’re being pampered in some Gen X’ers garage, the smart ones who saw this would be the last, great pontiac ever built.

it appears there are some base and GTs available at decent prices. But the GXP are still fetching a solid $25k

I used to work with a Vietnam vet (who recently passed, the guy had a lot of medical issues, unfortunately), who had a very nice GT. He drove a Silverado most of the time, so the G8 was mainly his wife’s car. Definitely had the idea that it was a future collectable, and so should keep it garaged and keep the miles down.
Seems there may be quite a few owners that think of them as the new Grand National.

I see these about once a week, occasionally in this great color.
The GXP, though...still haven’t ever seen one.

Come to MI, I see at least 1 a day. Go to a cars and coffee here and you’re sure to see a GXP.
